The Institute will be staffed by a dedicated team of professional expatriate and local teachers from around the world, all with performing arts experience. All staff undergo a rigorous performance appraisal and training system for the continuous development of their pedagogical skills.
Since its establishment, the ISAIA Performing Arts Institute has been involved in several performances as well as a variety of internal and external competitions, giving the students platforms and performance opportunities to showcase their artistic achievements.
Beyond captivating performances, the ISAIA PAI disseminates art and universal values via videos. During the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the choir sang the wordless ‘Impression of Dragon Spine Snow Mountain’, conveying the spirit of equality, justice, and dignity. ‘Be with me’ expresses heartfelt gratitude to mothers worldwide for their selfless love. ‘When I Grow Up’ from the musical ‘Matilda’ inspires students to contemplate their futures and strive for their goals.
The ISAIA PAI won awards at The 2021 Greater Bay Area International Youth Talent Competition in its early days. Moreover, the PAI Orchestra was awarded the gold medal in the Other Ensembles- Teenagers category at the 2022 Vienna Summer Festival.
Students will improve their musical technique, enhance their sight-reading, and develop their music theory ability by playing in an orchestra. Orchestral training explores different musical elements: rhythm, dynamics, melody, harmony, tone color, texture, and form. Members of the orchestra will be in great demand, performing regularly in front of big crowds at concerts, assemblies, and graduation ceremonies.
Students will receive professional vocal training, allowing them to sing individually and as part of a group. Choir training helps students to develop breathing, voice projection, musical expression, and harmony. It reduces stress, boosts self-esteem, and builds confidence. Preparing for concerts not only requires the dedication and discipline of attending weekly rehearsals but also develops concentration and teamwork skills.
Students will be taught a range of modern and traditional styles, from ballet to street dance. As well as the joy of expressing themselves through movement, dancing will improve physical fitness, posture, coordination, confidence, and musical ability.
