The ISAIA Visual Arts Centre is a vibrant platform for art and design exploration. We inspire students to turn passion into purpose through creative expression.

With a holistic approach, we offer a progressive arts curriculum from early childhood to university. Our students engage in exhibitions, competitions, study tours, and interdisciplinary projects that build an open, connected learning environment.

At the high school level, our programme combines core art and design training with A Level and BTEC courses. Small classes and personalised support empower students to build strong portfolios, think critically, and grow as global creatives.

Supported by a dedicated faculty and rich cultural resources, we guide students to top art and design universities worldwide—and help them become who they truly are.

G11-12

Art & Design Portfolio Course 

A portfolio is a key component of international undergraduate applications for visual arts majors. It is a curated collection of a student's strongest creative works produced during  high school.

The portfolio should reflect the student's interest and passion for their intended major (such as animation, product design, fashion,  etc.), while also demonstrating a range of artistic abilities—such as foundational skills, conceptual understanding, personal values, techniques, learning potential, and critical thinking—through diverse works including photography, observational drawing, sculpture, and more. This course guides students in planning and producing a portfolio tailored to their chosen field, supporting their artistic development and university applications.

BTEC Level 3 & 4 Foundation Diploma in Art, Design and Media Practice

This course is a UK-based foundation program for higher education, with a strong focus on practical skills and career readiness. It is designed for students who have completed high school and wish to enter the field of art and design or pursue undergraduate studies.

The curriculum integrates teaching, assessment, and skill development into a cohesive framework. Students are encouraged to freely choose their creative specialisations and themes, aligning with the needs of specialised, practice-based learning in art and design.

G10-11

Art & Design Specialisation Assessment Courses 

With over 70 university majors available in art and design, and in order to help students better understand the similarities and differences between these specialisations and identify their own suitable path for in-depth study, we have established specialized orientation evaluation courses. These include foundational classes and theoretical overviews across a range of disciplines. Supported by professional analysis from our art instructors, this program assists students in selecting their future academic focus.

A Level Art & Design

A Level (Advanced Level) is a key academic qualification in the UK and a major criterion for university admissions. Art & Design is one of the A Level subjects, ideal for students aiming to pursue top art and design programs in the UK or worldwide. 

This course emphasises creative thinking, academic skills, and diverse practice, laying a strong foundation for higher education. It is designed to support students in completing an A Level Art & Design qualification outside regular school hours, contributing to their university applications.

G7-G10

Visual Arts Fundamental Courses

This course is designed for students seeking a more structured development of artistic literacy, technical skills, and creative thinking—especially those interested in exploring art and design as a future academic path.

The course focuses on building strong foundational skills in drawing and visual expression. It covers color theory and application, spatial and light-shadow observation, and creative thinking training. Through these practices, students not only enhance their technical abilities but also deepen their understanding of art, refine their aesthetic judgment, and build confidence in their creative process. This prepares them for more advanced art courses and informed decisions about future academic directions.

EY-G7

Art Enlightenment and Drawing Courses

We offer young learners a joyful and creative journey into the world of art. Through playful, hands-on, and interactive lessons, students develop imagination, observation, and essential art skills. From sketching and painting to printmaking, anime characters, and scene design, our programme nurtures curiosity and confidence, helping each child discover the joy of self-expression through visual language.

Art High School is a premier program designed to nurture students' passion for visual arts and design. Rooted in the philosophy of holistic education, the program offers a comprehensive curriculum that integrates foundational art and design courses with advanced A Level programs.

Arts Study Tour

Each summer, the ISA Visual Arts Centre leads students on an immersive arts study tour across the UK-offering first-hand exposure to some of the world's most prestigious art and design institutions. This year's journey begins in Edinburgh,  travels through Glasgow and Leeds, and concludes in London. 

Students will visit top universities such as The University of Edinburgh, Glasgow School of Art, University of Leeds, and Goldsmiths, University of London, while also exploring renowned museums and cultural landmarks. The tour culminates in a summer course at the University of the Arts London (UAL), where students engage in hands-on learning and connect with peers from around the globe. More than a study trip, this is a journey of artistic discovery, global inspiration, and personal growth.

  • She has been deeply involved in international art education for more than 10 years, has a higher education teacher qualification certificate, participated in and led multiple PBL interdisciplinary learning projects, BTEC internal audit work, and the research and development of art education courses and evaluation systems.
